Vaasa City Orchestra

sol. Helena Åhman, Tommi Läntinen

Welcome to a unique and entertaining evening with Professor of Working Life Helena Åhman, musician and artist Tommi Läntinen, and the Vaasa City Orchestra!

As part of the LittFest literary festival, this special performance is suitable for everyone and offers stories, reflections and practical tips on how to navigate emotions and challenging situations in life. The performance is based on Helena Åhman’s latest book, Tunnerohkeus – suoraan puhumisen ja vastarinnan kohtaamisen taito.

Joining Åhman on stage is Tommi Läntinen, one of the legends of Finnish rock, who has written numerous songs exploring many of the same themes. Läntinen’s music lends itself beautifully to the skilled interpretation of the Vaasa City Orchestra, while his charismatic voice completes the experience.

Expect a thought-provoking evening exploring human encounters, emotions, the art of speaking openly and honestly, and understanding – through both words and music. The program will be presented in Finnish.

In cooperation with Vaasa LittFest.
