Geology-Focused Tour



Deepen your knowledge of geology on a specialized geology tour.



The geology tour combines themes from a geological exhibition created in collaboration with GTK and includes a mine tour. Youll learn about Finlands origins and the events that have shaped Finlands bedrock.


During the tour, youll also explore minerals and the rocks formed from them, while hearing about the history of the Tytyri mine.
The tour presents limestone mining in Tytyri and discusses the work of miners throughout the years.



After the guided tour, you are welcome to explore the mine independently and visit the art exhibition and the Christmas mine.



Tour duration: approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Recommended for ages 12 and up.



Ticket price: Entry to the entire mine + geology tour = €24.50/person.

Children aged 0-2: free of charge.
