John Stowell's (b.1950) piano-like way of playing the guitar and his personal harmonic approach to improvisation create the basis for a unique musical experience. The respected American jazz guitarist is also a sought-after teacher and often performs solo or as a duo with other musicians worldwide. During his long career, Stowell has released over 20 albums as a band leader. Stowell has worked and recorded with many of our favorite jazz artists such as Milt Jackson, Lionel Hampton, Art Farmer, Billy Higgins, Billy Hart, Conte Condoli, Herb Ellis, Bill Watrous, Mundell Lowe, George Cables, Richie Cole, Paul Horn, Tom Harrrell, Don Thompson, Dave Liebman and many others!

 

Eevalotta Matikainen and Martin Söderbacka have played together as a duo since 2011. Martin and Eevalotta have performed over 1000 shows together and have released 5 albums as co-producers. Söderbacka and Matikainen have been performing and touring together with numerous guest artists such as: Viktoria Tolstoy (SE), Joris Roelofs (NL), Joonatan Rautio, Jukka Perko, Teemu Viinikainen, Osmo Ikonen, Sami Saari, Jesse Kaikuranta, Aili Ikonen, Manuel Dunkel, Olli Soikkeli, Mikko Gunu Karjalainen, Siim Aimla (EST), David Lyttle (IRL), Mikko Pettinen, Niklas Winter, Mikael Svarvar and Charlotta Kerbs. Besides the duo lineup Söderbacka and Matikainen also compose for their quartet SM4 and for Eevalotta’s soul/jazz quintet Soul What? feat. Joonatan Rautio.
