‘Vila kan man göra i graven’ explores the place of humans in a performance-orientated world. It deals with themes of shame and inadequacy, while reminding us that we are not alone in these feelings.



Blending personal experience with a desire to find a reasonable balance in life, Tove Qvickström has written a monologue about perfectionism, exhaustion, insomnia and a constant feeling of not being enough. Its a performance with many recognisable elements, but also with a large dose of humour and self-irony.


Balancing madness and truth, Vila kan man göra i graven offers an opportunity to laugh at the absurd situations humans can find themselves in and an opportunity to rest in recognition. As part of Wasa Theatres environmental work, this production explores the possibility of sustainable production. The goal is to use 100% recycled material or what we have in our own warehouses, without compromising on artistic quality or the audiences experience.
