The summer heat is arriving in Vaasa, bringing Korsholm Music Festival with it. The festival theme Across the Atlantic brings music from America in the form of classical, folk and soul to Vaasa.
To celebrate summer, you will now get a ticket to Korsholm Music Festival’s concerts Roots and Rodeo & Rhapsody for a total price of 26 € – that’s two concerts for the price of one!
There is a limited number of tickets for the special offer price. The offer is valid until 17.7.2026, or as long as there are special offer tickets left.
Instructions: In the Netticket web shop, choose 1 ticket of the "Kaksi konserttia yhteishintaan" ticket type under the Roots concert, and you will get a ticket to both Roots and Rodeo & Rhapsody in your e-mail. You can also by the special offer tickets in Netticket's ticket outlets and at the festival office at Vasa City Hall.

RODEO & RHAPSODY

The most eventful concert of the Music Festival, Rodeo & Rhapsody, will make you laugh, dance and stomp your feet. You will hear for example Arnold Bax’s fascinating Oboe Quintet interpreted by the world renowned Nicholas Daniel.

In this relaxed concert, we return to the roots of much of the Western art music - folk music. In the welcoming atmosphere of the Doo-Bop Club, the audience is treated to klezmer, ragtime and Irish-inspired sounds, with the opportunity to enjoy refreshments from the bar. Trio Klezmera is a Vaasa-based ensemble that has long explored Jewish klezmer music’s expressions and traditions. With rich vocal harmonies and violins Chickadee performs songs and stories from the American old-time and folk music tradition rooted in the Appalachian region.

Please note! The festival pass includes the 16:00 show of A Day at the Circus! In Michael Bleu sings Soul Classics the placenumber for a passholder is in the hall, not in the balcony. Of Rodeo & Rhapsody the concert in Vähäkyrö is included in the pass. If you would like to go to the concert in Kurikka instead, please contact info@kmf.fi
