Sara is celebrating its 15-year-old album Veden äärelle with a tour and vinyl release! The pioneers of domestic alternative rock and metal, will release the band's successful album Veden äärelle for the first time on vinyl and go on a celebration tour in April to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the album. The band will perform in Vaasa on Friday 28 April 2023 at 8 pm!

"Veden äärelle is a really important record for us and it brought the band to the next level when it came out. The song Rauhan aika got an Emma nomination, we were on a big record company, the songs were playing on the radio and it felt like everything was going in exactly the right direction. I would still say that today the band is much tighter live and certainly also the songs on the Veden äärelle album sound bigger and bolder than ever before", says Sara's singer-guitarist Joa Korhonen.
Tickets for the tour will go on sale on Monday, January 30th, and the vinyl will be released on March 31st. Backstage Rock Shop is responsible for the vinyl release.
"This is the first time that an old album is being reissued, so it will be interesting to see how it is received. There have been a lot of wishes for vinyls over the years, and it has also been planned for a long time. Fortunately, it will now come true together with Backstage Rock Shop. The album's wonderful covers will get their due in a bigger size", the band comments on the release.
Originally from Kaskinen, the group Sara has released 9 studio albums in its versatile career, the latest of which, Pimeys, was released a year ago in January 2021.
