Nazareth belongs to the first generation of Hard/Heavy bands and has significantly characterised the direction of Hard Rock along with the other pioneers of this genre such as Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Uriah Heep etc.
Formed in 1968, Nazareth rose from playing the pubs, clubs and dance halls of their native Scotland to become one of the world’s most successful rock bands, having sold more than 60 million records and notching up a string of hits along the way.
