Based on the story widely regarded as the finest of the Palmu detective series, this gripping drama revolves around the death of a wealthy playboy in Helsinki’s Eira district.
 
The fabulously rich and notoriously unruly Bruno Rygseck is found drowned in his own bathtub. Inspector Palmu, along with his assistants Kokki and Virta, begins to investigate what appears to be an accidental death. Suspicion arises as all members of Bruno’s famous but peculiar family were present in the house at the time of the incident. It is revealed that a party was held at the house the night before, with dark forces seemingly in attendance.
 
Is someone trying to mislead Palmu, or are coincidence and fate merely playing a wicked game?
 
This theatrical adaptation of Mika Waltari’s well-known detective brings a humorous, thrilling, visually striking, and captivating performance to the Vaasa City Theatre.
