Forever Young is a joyful musical comedy full of vibrant joy.
 
It is the 2080s and Vaasa City Theatre has been transformed into a retirement home for actors. The 90-year-old actors of the city theatre live in the retirement home together with their caregiver. They reminisce about the past together, talk about their youthful adventures and share both joy and longing together. Although the memories do not always remain crystal clear and the dance moves are not as agile as before, the power of song, music and community has not disappeared anywhere.
 
Forever Young brings humor, comfort, joy and nostalgia to the stage. The performance will feature beloved hits from recent decades, such as I Love Rock’n Roll, Staying Alive, Barbie Girl, Forever Young, I Will Survive and Vain elämää. As we grow older, do we become old? Or are we always forever young?
