The Vaasa City Theatre’s musical Cabaret explores the theme of power, its growth, and its impact on personal lives.
 
Cabaret tells the story of individuals hungry for life in the vibrant pulse of Berlin. Young American writer Clifford Bradshaw is in search of himself and idealises a free world. English cabaret singer Sally Bowles revels in her position as the beloved star of the Kit Kat Klub. When they meet, the musical’s story unfolds.
 
Visually, the musical draws inspiration from the past, yet the pace of the choreography is very much of the present. The performers of the Kit Kat Klub invite you in – perhaps together we can forget all our worries!
